This advertisement uses the glittering generalities and the beautiful people techniques to sell the product.

Glittering generalities: The appealing words "How Hot can YOU Be?" really have no analysis to the product. On more of an opiniative basis, its really not how skinny one is that defines if they are "hot" or not.

Beautiful people: By using two high-profile celebrites, the advertisment suggests to use this product in order to "Keep up with Kim and Khloe," and you will look like them too.
